What is a listing anyway?

Search engines and web directories require basic information in order for your business to be recognized and indexed as a local business listing. Generally local search sites use markup language or schema to tell the search engine crawling your page this is a business and/or location.  In order for business to present in directories or search engine's local searches you must minimum data: business name, local phone number, physical street address, brick-and-mortar business - e-commerce not eligible.

What is the difference between updating and claiming?

 Updating means that you have an account and just need to have us update the information and bring it to standard. Claiming however, means your page exists but it has not been created or set up. In this case, we will begin by starting the verification process so we can change any information.

What are the benefits of optimizing my listing?
